I was new to dedicated servers, as I have only had a need for shared hosting before. As Hosting Source was reasonably priced for what I needed, I went with them after shopping around.

I got what I paid for.

In every ticket, the responder(s) talked down to me. I’ve been yelled at in phone conversations, which really doesn’t sit well with me because I have social anxiety and am a soft spoken woman. When I had a DDoS attack, they took down my site without letting me know so I could rectify the situation, and when I brought it up with them, they said the next attack, they would cancel my service, and any other hosting would do the same. When I asked if they provided DDoS protection, they ignored me.

That is, until I asked them for the transfer code to change my domain name from their registrar to GoDaddy. They actually defamed GoDaddy, and used the “Grass isn’t greener on the other side” cliche. I attached my latest go-round with them.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for such things. I saw other reviews and complaints here. I just hope this review helps. If anyone has any questions, I’ll be happy to answer.
