I’ve been Burstnet client for a lot of years. I am hosted on the Manchester Servers, I have a Linux VPN.
Recently BurstNet has been acquired by UKFast.
I must say that I’m a person who normally forgets paying bills, etc. So, accordingly, I have seen my account t suspended a lot of times either in Burstnet as well as recently in UKFast. Nonetheless I always pay my invoices and everything is reactivated again in no time….at least this is how it used to be.
This month, I’ve seen my account suspended again for invoice overdue. I then paid not only the overdue invoice as I also paid the new one (which was already issued). I’ve the waited for my account to be unsuspended as always…I’ve waited and waited…but this time nothing g happened.
Almost 12 hours after payment I wrote to costumer service to ask them to reactivate my account, beucaus everything was payed now. Then then told me that That is “If you still wish to reactivate your account” you have to pay us a £50 fee!!!!
“In accordance with our terms and conditions there is a £50 re-activation fee for suspended accounts. If you still wish to reactivate your account please take the following steps:
• Confirm that you still wish to re-activate via return ticket
• Our Accounts department (Mon-Friday, 9am-6pm BST) will generate an invoice to be paid
• Please pay the invoice and confirm the payment reference via ticket
• Once we receive confirmation of payment we will initiate the reactivation of your account
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you should have any questions.”
I’ve asked them to forgive me the fee this time… But I still do not know their answer… So I will come back to this forum just to tell you how well does UkFast treat their older costumers…
