Hello

What is the best web host to go for for money and quality?

I’m thinking about moving, but is there a huge difference between say Moonfruit and a host on page 20 of google?

I’m just very interested in knowing really?

All web hosts are the best 🙂

But, there is only best host for you. Plan what you need and make a list.

A good place to start is maybe explaining a little about your current web host and what are some of the problems you are experiencing with them? Also, what are you looking for in your new web host?

I think he is referring to a free website builder called MoonFruit. They appear on Google nicely when you search for free website builder. Maybe that is what he is referring to.

I tend to steer clear of “unlimited” deals as they tend to be too good to be true.

they give you a reservoir of space but only a tiny straw to drink it with.

a lot of crappy hosts are on the first page of google when you search for web hosting so i wouldn’t gauge the quality of a host based on a their search rankings.

Read reviews, pick the web host which best suits you and your budget, what are your needs and location!

The best web host might be good for someone in the USA, who isnt as good as for someone in the UK, all down to preference!

It really boils down to who you’re hosting with. If you’re picking from the list of mostly EIG “top 10” hosts then you’re probably gonna have a bad time.

Also, host can change over time. The last time i moved i was with a good host with a good rep. over the last few month I noticed the performance start to drop.

The only way is to find the deal you want and then search for reviews, or if a new company take a gamble and if it doesn’t work out jump ship.

Yes! It takes AT LEAST a year to know if a host is good or not!

There is a myriad of good hosts, you first need to decide what your needs are then search for a host that meets those needs. You may get better advice here if you told us your requirements and/or posted a shortlist of hosts your considering.
