Burst.net = HORRIBLE!

Big on Hosting. Unlimited Space & Unlimited Bandwidth

I wanted to point this out to anyone else using burst net:

I have a VPS with them, paid every month, never usually any problems. This weekend, I noticed the box was running slow. I attempted to log into the vps, got the logon prompt but stopped responding. I went to their VECenter control panel, and promptly rebooted the box. The box won’t come back up now, (at least to a ping), can’t use the VECenter console as it shows a blank screen, AND! to top it all off – They should have 24/7/365 support per their website, you call and choose option 3 for tech support. You get forwarded to a cell phone thats shut off, and voicemail box thats full. Call back in, press option 2, you get a girl that is probably an answering attendant, she takes your ticket # down and apparently sends it to someone in tech support. Still no response. This all happened after their transition to the new company. Can’t get ahold of anyone real, tried AIM, tried calling numbers on their whois record (which now say disconnected), only number that does anything is the 844 number on their website. This server is still down over 96 hours.

If anyone has any contacts with Burstnet to get my VPS back up, I would love to talk to you – this is rediculous, I can’t even retrieve my backups from VECenter to move it somewhere else. I have backups on a local server here, but it would be much easier to move if I could get the VECenter backups.
