I’m switching from a VPS to shared hosting starting next week for my XenForo forum and a few very small personal websites. I’m looking at mainly CrocWeb and StableHost but can’t decide between the two. After looking through reviews CrocWeb has basically 100% positive reviews and StableHost has about half and half. I like StableHost’s enterprise plans but CrocWeb generally seems more established I guess.
My main worry is about XenForo using high CPU usage during things like mailing and whatnot, I used Eleven2 a little over a year ago and was suspended a few times for it (generally their servers were slow also). My forum isn’t really high resource, and on my current VPS the CPU usage is almost always 1-3% and load under 0.08.
Any people that have experience with either of the two can have some input here?
