Handling False Spam Complains

Big on Hosting. Unlimited Space & Unlimited Bandwidth
After an updates newsletter to registered members on Halloween, a member (probably confused or angry) filed multiple false spam reports with SpamCom about our links in that message (related to updates and demo sites). Links were reported as “Spamvertised Website”.

We reported this as false report:

This is not spam because:
– emails were sent to members that registered on VideoWhisper.com, as per site Privacy Policy that states “You can register with our website if you would like to receive updates on our new products and services. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form.”
– emails contain clarifications about this and instructions to edit or delete the account on this site (unsubscribe):

You are receiving this update as member of VideoWhisper.com community. You
can update your details or close your account anytime and give up future
updates.

This is an abuse because:
– this is a false report as explained above
– duplicate reports were filed for same email including 6026273624, 6026273626 resulting in multiple bulk unsolicited false complain emails
– the email contains clarifications about recipient sender relation and unsubscription instructions so validity of complain could have be verified prior to forwarding these unsolicited emails containing false complains

How do you handle or suggest to handle such situations?
