Malware/Hackers in CrocWeb Servers

Big on Hosting. Unlimited Space & Unlimited Bandwidth

I never believed from the reviews at Web Hosting Talk forums that once a customer was thrown out of the server for getting malwares in his account. Also from this review,…orth-buck.html it states almost the same.

Yesterday I experienced the same. My computer is 100% safe from any Virus to be noted first of all. Secondly, I always scan the entire cPanel account of mine for any possible malwares in server. The strange thing I found after shifting to Crocweb is this:

Hi Nitesh,

Someone recently used your password to try to sign in to your Google Account –

We prevented the sign-in attempt in case this was a hijacker trying to access your account. Please review the details of the sign-in attempt:

Sunday, September 22, 2013 2:16:46 PM UTC
IP Address: (
Location: United States

If you do not recognize this sign-in attempt, someone else might be trying to access your account. You should sign in to your account and reset your password immediately.

Now after looking out the information of the above quoted IP and hostname, I came to know that the IP and hostname is none other than from the Crocweb network. The IP is from Crocweb.…

I really wonder how this all happening. I then logged into the gmail logged in history and found that there were 7 successful logins from the same IP from 2 days. I have been with crocweb just 2-3 days before.

My email was compromised. I am really disappointed by this. I am investigating further on this and will be keeping an eye on all the accounts including crocweb.
