A few years ago; when the extraordinarily customer-centric husband and wife team of Robert and Donna owned MediaCatch, the MediaCatch web hosting service was discovered and subsequently used with great success.
However, the MediaCatch business was sold. The new owner – FeBox – chose to operate the MediaCatch web hosting service in a substantially less customer-centric fashion. While Anthony – the present(?) MediaCatch manager – is quite competent, his availability; as determined by the lack of responses to hosting-specific trouble reports, has been nearly zero. The MediaCatch/FeBox personnel are not responsive in matters pertaining to the integrity of their web hosting service. For example, at the time of this writing all of this customer’s business websites are down – the problem being that the associated MediaCatch hosting service is not operating. This particular down time event has lasted an entire day (and counting). At the time of this writing, there has been no response to two detailed voice messages left by phone (1 to MediaCatch and 1 to FeBox), an email message, and a MediaCatch trouble ticket that has now been open and unaddressed for 3 days. This is not the first time that such a scenario has occurred.
Thus, this customer is presently seeking a linux-based re-seller web hosting service like the service once – but no longer – provided by MediaCatch.
Your helpful suggestions in this matter would be appreciated.
