One data center many be more expensive for them to operate out of so they pass that cost onto the customer. I really don’t think an extra $1/month is really a big deal. That’s also a questions you should be asking Namecheap and not WHT.

^^This

Something like, if you check, (Jut for example) innohosting, they are offering good spec in USA but low spec in same price for UK DC. Because outside of US, resources are bit more expensive.

I am not sure about the server spec etc because i never tested their services. I quoted their name for an example only.

I’ve been testing Namecheap for months, and putting it under a microscope because I’m wary of registrars that hosts. (Before my NC testing, all registrars to date have been bad. Especially Godaddy.)

But Namecheap is not only passing my tests, but surpassing my expectations. It’s not quite as good as EuroVPS or LiquidWeb, as they’ve set a very high bar, but NC is definitely above average when it comes to the servers and support. They’re giving Stablehost and Site5 some good competition. A number of hosts are are simply outclassed. I plan to write up a number of full reviews in Sept-Oct (finally! I have some time again!).

If you like the locations, plans, etc — buy it. You won’t be sorry. I’m sure not.

Now I know why Matt is so proud of their hosting — it’s good!
