prq.se is registering the domains at ENOM!!!

im so pissed off, i picked prq.se to register my domains for the sole purpose of staying as far away as possible from any US registerar

and when i looked up the domain at WHOIS i found out it’s registered at ENOM!!

can somebody explain that to me

“A ICANN controlled TLD can get seized regardless of where the registrar is located”

this is the answer i got back from them, is that true?

so it doesn’t really matter where you register your .com domain?

.com IS a US controlled TLD.

In which case you’re not going to be able to use any gTLD, you’ll need to find an obscure ccTLD registrar but be careful because many of them will afford you less rights than a U.S. one. For example, Ghana who revoked me.ga (Kim Dotcom’s would be domain) before it was ever put into use.
