Hello people,

I have an inquiry (newbie member) for anyone to answer (comment on).

MY WEB SITE HAS A ROOT DIRECTORY NAMED PUBLIC_HTML. IS THIS COMMON TO ALL SITES? IN OTHER WORDS, WHAT WOULD THE ROOT DIRECTORY BE WHEN NOT USING BASIC HTML? ARE THEIR SEVERAL POSSIBILITIES?

I HAVE DOWNLOADED MY PUBLIC_HTML DIRECTORY BECAUSE IT’S EASIER TO MANAGE THE INDIVIDUAL PAGES WITHOUT BEING ‘ONLINE’. MY BROTHER-IN-LAW WOULD LIKE TO DO THE SAME BUT HE MAINTAINS HE DOESN’T HAVE A DIRECTORY NAMED PUBLIC_HTML

Thanks for any comment you may wish to make [TOM E]
