I have been looking at various cheap shared hosting packages, they are all similar offers. Unlimited domains, a huge amount of hosting space that I will never fill and unlimited bandwidth, these are not a concern.
It is CPU usage what I am worried about, mainly because I don’t know what it will make it surge.
I have 20 websites/domains, they are all hand coded HTML photoalbums made with the same template and contain no database or php or anything like that, the sites contain a total of 2GB of data (images) in between all of them and an average of 300 or 400 daily visitors on each domain. 400×20=8000 unique/day
One company told me that I can have 1 CPU in shared hosting before the account is suspended, I haven’t got a clue about if 1 CPU is enough for my needs or not.
I was wondering if anybody could tell me how much CPU do pure HTML sites with only images take and if based on the specs given above it is likely that I will take lots of it.
