Its been awhile since I’ve done much with vpns and such, and I’ve never really attempted the following so if possible could I get a little direction on how to achieve what I want.

Basically Im trying to achieve a few things, many of these are available with exchange but for a few reasons, mainly cost, I dont want to use exchange.

1.) I want to sync email accounts, with many devices, PC, phone, tablet etc… I would imagine this would be relatively simple, just set up the client for imap email.

2.) Calender… this is where I am clueless… I have a HORRIBLE memory so I really would like a way to set up a way for me to set an appt in say outlook and have it go into my phone so I can always have my schedule handy.

Again, Im sure the best way to do this would be just to get an exchange account or even an office 360, however my issue with it is the limit on email addresses, I want the ability to send email on multiple names billing@ webmaster@ etc etc… and the way I understand it, that would mean each would require me to purchase an additional user… I could set up aliases under my primary user but then I would only be able to receive mail from the various addresses, not send mail from them.

So, any way to achieve this?

Thanks.
