Dear Webhostingtalk , i write this post because i think it is necessary to give a review about hosting company so that fellow webmasters can make a decision about choosing a hosting company.
I didn’t hear about this hosting company before October.
I was then in Hostgator dedicated server (basic) . I bought hostgator server with a very good deal (DEDISPLOSION offer ) .
Though hostgator service was ok but it is not affordable to maintain my website with a price of 175$/month because my traffic
was not so much .
So i decided to move in cloud server .
Digitalocean.com was my first choice because i had an account with them for more than a year.
but I didn’t like the digitalocean policy about IPv4 restriction (only 1 ipv4 per VM) .
I mailed them again and they replied that they had same policy.
So I searched in google and found this (togglebox) hosting company in this forum.
I signed up with them easily but unfortunately due to my location
they request me to submit additional documents. I gave them and they activated my account with in a few hours.
1>MY RATINGS for SIGN UP – 8 or 9/10
price is very good and competitive . really amazing.
with same features (2GB ram 2 CPU, 30 GB SSD , 2 IPs and Cpanel license, 10GB Backup) cost only 40$.
same configuration cost around in 64$ in dediserve.com (without Cpanel license )

though it is unmanaged cloud hosting but they give you live chat help instantly (available 24 hours) . Their email response time is also very fast.
one Technical assistant, Name – Veer (if i recall correctly ), was really amazing. he solve my problem (very high I/O ) with great patience. and all other support assistant , was really very good

Performance and VM quality
– excellent. though they are not 100 % ssd like digitalocean but their hybrid is very good.
Cpu quality is better than digitalocean

Cloud upgrade or Downgrade
very easy , just few clicks – that’s all.
Togglebox is using OnApp which is best cloud management software, I think.

In this , togglebox is completely out of field.
Though network is very fast but many times you will notice downtime.
my last month pingdom reports said 99.23% uptime [total 5 hours 33 min downtime ( due to high I/O issue my server was down for about 2 hours )]
even their website become inaccessible during that downtime so you can’t even contact them .
but They have money refund policy if network is down more than

To Customers in good financial standing with ToggleBox we guarantee that our network is available 99.9% and their virtual machine is available 99.9% of the time in a given month, excluding scheduled maintenance. The network is defined as core network infrastructure excluding the hardware, services and software running on your server. The server is defined as the host hardware that houses the account excluding software running on your server. If a service inside your virtual machine fails to start after the hardware problem is resolved this does not count towards our SLA. Downtime is measured from the moment the Customer notifies a ToggleBox support representative of a failure to the time the Network or Server responds to an external “ping” request.
If network downtime exceeds .1% in a given month, the Customer will be credited 5% of their monthly hosting fee and an additional 5% for each additional 5 minutes of downtime up to 50% of the Customer ‘s monthly hosting fee.
If server downtime exceeds .1% in a given month, the Customer will be credited 5% of their monthly hosting fee and an additional 5% for each additional 5 minutes of downtime up to 50% of the Customer ‘s monthly hosting fee.
Credits shall not be provided to the Customer if network or server downtime is the result of: a) scheduled maintenance b) circumstances beyond ToggleBox’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to: dDOS or other network attacks, upstream or 3rd party network outages, war, fire, flood, sabotage, labor disturbance, acts of government, acts of god or c) breaking this Agreement or ToggleBox’s Acceptable Use Policy.
But I wish Togglebox should improve their network downtime issue.
