WHT i could use your expertise and opinions!
All my confusion has come from all the research i’ve done lol..I’ve literally gone back to threads from the past 2 years and I am so conflicted lol

First i want to say Special thanks to Kpmedia for his help simply with helping me out with this!

But i always like to get second opinions(and third and fourth)on things.

I have narrowed my search down to Site5 and Liquidweb. I am currently with site5 as is and I am 50/50 with them. I have a mirror version/test version of my site on their servers and i do notice a slight second or 2 delay compared to my live version of my site but nothing too horrible(and some of my members who checked it out, can’t see a difference).

My live version of my site DOES run Litespeed, however, so that could be the reason why Site5 seems slightly slower. But given that no traffic goes to the test site with site5, it makes me wonder if i’ll face even more slowness once i move the live site over.

However, site5 support team is a bit slow for me. Each reply to a ticket can take 2-5 hours, for simple questions. So I am a bit bullish with jumping all in.

Liquidweb is a host i really am curious about, though I have heard that

1. Support has fallen off a bit presently vs their earlier days
2. SLow download speeds
3. Their hardware for VPS may not be as up to date as possible

In fact, an admin I know is moving AWAY from liquidweb and when i asked why, he wouldn’t tell me until after he is officially off the site lol.

I like the fact that Liquidweb offers SSD which i want to try AND Litespeed(even if it is a higher price than the usual licence).

With that said,
1. How are support times and responses for Liquidweb and Site5?
2. Which of these two are likely reliable
3. If you were in the market for a new VPS and these were you two options, which would you choose?
